Title: First Steps towards Transpersonal Education

Abstract: In order to introduce society to transpersonal education and its values, we must first start with teacher education. We can offer professional development courses, lectures, seminars, workshops, and discussions. How to get teachers from any school interested in participating in such activities? Which topics related to transpersonal education should be included in the curriculum in order to interest and inspire teachers to introduce something new in their professional work? How to motivate educators for self-development and the expansion of their spiritual interests? These are some of the questions we need to answer if we want to invest any practical changes in the education system.

Resumed biography: Psychologist, artist, educator, international workshop leader, supervisor. Holder of EUROTAS Certificate of Transpersonal Psychotherapy since 2008. Founder and director of Transpersonal Education Institute in Latvia, Board member and Executive director of EUROTAS. Student of Ubiquity University Ph.D Program “Integral Transpersonal Psychology”. Studied arts, pedagogy, psychology, psychotherapy, art therapy, family constellations. Buddhism and Shamanic therapeutic techniques learned individually from private teachers.
